This is a variant of brand identity concept for “FRED&TED” coffeehouse from Izhevsk which in due time had been rejected by the customer. However, it came in handy for participation in advertising and design festival FAKESTIVAL – the first and the only international advertising and design festival in Russia where only those advertising and design concepts are accepted that had never been realized before.
Facial profiles of two friends on the logo maintain a dialogue thus forming a sketchy bubble like those in comic strips with the coffeehouse name written in it. It is the idea of friendly chat over delicious coffee that creates the mood of the coffeehouse. The visual identity covers corporate documentation set, branded package and interior of the coffeehouses.
